Shopping... not so Fun

I ask the sales associate if a blouse is on sale. She said, "No." I said, "It's $41 something in the website." She said she'd check, but she'd need my account information to run it through. I asked, "You can't just scan it and tell me if it's on sale?" She said, "Not without ringing it through."

I left, called another store, and asked if they could tell me the price using the item number. The female checked, never asking for my account information, and confirmed the blouse is in sale.

I called the store I had just left, told them the other store confirmed the price via telephone without ever asking for my account information, and thanked them for a lovely shopping experience.
